Just a few photo's i took today of the 'Kelpies' at canal near Grangemouth. Have passed them many times whilst on the motoway, and wanted to get a photo of them... enjoy

Thanks for the photos Kate. They were under construction when we visited the boat lift in July, I imagine they look great from the main road.

These are'nt at the Falkirk wheel, could'nt see them there, but think it maybe to do with that, they were doing maintenance whilst we were there.
These are at the canal in Grangemouth, and look 'spectacular' close up, that why i wanted to get the photos

Sorry I didn't realise. When we were at the wheel there were models of them and we thought they were going to be erected there, They look super.

I have seen photos of them at the Falkirk Wheel.
There are quite few 'statue's' bulit from the same kind of material's within my local area, some are at roundabouts, and there is quite a spectacular one that can be seen from the motorway at Cumbernauld.
