Love those last 2 postcards Ex More, though didn't realise they were here till I saw your other thread.... On the Winter Gardens one, what is the caravan on the grass at front of picture, can anyone make it out? The pier one is great too, wouldn't you have loved to go on a boat trip from the pier, now we have to go to the end to look for the sea on most days of the year. Thanks for sharing all your postcards, I have a few, but nowhere near as many as you.

Looks like a sea bathing hut to me

Strange place to put one though....it was some way from the sea even then, but you could be right, hadn't thought of that.

The sea came in a lot further in them days.

The hut is actually ON the beach.
