    Botanic Gardens Boat House Discrace.

    I few i took last Sunday....it realy saddens me to see the state it is now compared to the way it used to be with familys enjoying a row on the lake....

    Totally agree, I remember the little shop that used to be up the steps, used to love going in there as a child. Do you have any old photos of it in it's hey day?

    What a shame. Are the houses still lived in? Who owns them ? Is it the council and they are let out to people who work in the park? or have they been allowed to decay as well?

    I'm pretty sure the houses are still lived in, the gardens are very well kept and I've seen little ornaments and things in the window quite recently. Although I don't think I've ever seen a light on...unless I've just not noticed!
