A QLocal reader contacted us last week regarding some strange and inappropriate goings on on the old Coast Rd just past the Eco Centre. The area is known as the Queen's Jubilee Nature Trail.

Many cars are parked along the road and each car has a male in it.The majority of these males appear to be over 50.They sit in their cars just waiting.

Yesterday a Motor Home turned up and several people went to the drivers window and some sort of transaction took place.

Today the same cars were parked along the road apart from the Motor Home. These cars drive up and down and appear to signal to each other.

After a while a car door opened and a man disappeared into the woods followed ten seconds later by another man.

The men were in close contact in the dunes wandering around and behaving very furtively indeed.

    The Police have been informed.

And you felt the need to go and take pictures ( VERY ODD ) ...
It's obviously a secret pannini sticker society, were you meet up with other members to swap cards you don't need, for those that you do...I thought it was well known around these parts?
You've now informed the rozzers, so they'll have to swap stickers elsewhere! SHAME ON YOU

Dogging! Whats the point of it? Just a bunch of perverts. Hope the coppers nail the lot of them.

I have heard that the natterjack toad lives in that area and, on checking, I found that toads are: “amphibians in the order ANURA” these people may have a deep anura interest or, of course, they could just be looking for toadstools.

I'm not sure about that explanation - after all, there's not mushroom in the back of an Astra.

Well done to Q for exposing this ...there is obviously something going on down there and we need to get rid of druggies and perves from our society. Excellent item

Its not The Red Astra on Newton St. The Red Astra on Newton St has a rear spoiler, the one in the picture doesn't.

Why didn't you just ask them what they were doing?

And this is the problem with blanking out number plates. People jumping to conclusions.
Thankfully for the owner of the car down Newton street, Someone noticed a difference between the two cars.

Maybe the images should have just been handed to police, with just a text news item on here?
