The driver of this Ford Fiesta had a lucky escape after losing control of the car on the bend in Ralph's Wife's Lane yesterday evening.The accident occurred at 7.35pm and the driver escaped with no injuries.

considering what it hit , its bit of a mess ??? .. some of the yesteryear cars you could of towed out and driven on with just a few scratches etc and a clean pair of gruns ....

The difference being the driver will have walked away. maybe not so lucky in a yesteryear car.

Besides, a bloke making it that far down 'the dirt track' would surely still be near the scene of the crime boasting to his mates about his exploits!

Who is this "Ralph" and why does his wife own this particular lane? I think this is the more pressing question rather than how or why the car crashed!
