Fly tippers have blocked Wyke Lane Scarisbrick. So much rubbish has been dumped that the road is extremely dangerous to traffic.









Anybody with information is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101 or Crime stopppers on 0800 555 111.

Update-The road is now clear as the rubbish has been moved to the side.

Unbelievable.

I hope a close inspection of everything may reveal the source

Looking @ the way its strewn over the road I recon a smaller tipper vehicle reversed tipped & drove away with the body still up.

Hitting that lot at even 30mph would have dire results.

Every effort should be made to find these tippers, and they should face a charge, if there is one, of the 'possibility of causing death or injury through road obstruction'.

A jail term is definitly the order of the day for this gross negligence.

Seriously though, hope they trace the culprit.....should be given community service seperating recyclable rubbish at the tip for a year or two...

very strange if it was some of the usual culprits they would have kept the metal,the problem is they just dont want to pay,

This really is disgusting.Unfortunately its not a one off incident.

There is fly tipping down the lane where Freshfields staff walk the dogs and I guess that it happens anywhere off the beaten track.

For gods sake if you have a vehicle then take the stuff to the nearest landfill.If you don't drive then ring the council and ask if they can pick the item up.

In this day and age,there is no excuse!
