" Play in a day ".... OK, it was only three or four chords but it started loads of potential Gary Moores off on their roads.
Bert Weedon was a brilliant jazz gutarist and a very nice guy as well.
R.I.P. A great guy.

I can remember getting my first guitar at the age of 11 and it came with Berts book. 55 years have passed and I still can only play about 4 chords (not your fault Bert). RIP a great guitarist.

Rip Bert.
Rock legends including Sir Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Eric Clapton have all cited Weedon's guitar tips in helping them learn to play.

Hey don't knock it, Status Quo did alright with very little more
It is surprising just how many guitarists, groups or solo entertainers quote Bert Weedon as their first inspiration to take up a guitar.
