Not a bug as such, maybe it was intended this way ?
I think the background colour on the message DIV would look better being white, rather than the grey

Being grey it looks more like a quote rather than the post.

    1) Last post function not working in Internet Explorer 7:

    2) Also, cannot remove attachments once added to a post (I tried IE7 and Chrome).

    3) There's a slight error in the text layout in IE7:

    It is correct in Chrome:

It seems to be affecting everything on the right hand side - even the weather and high tides information.

Last post function is working correctly on my ie9 and firefox.
    Name: photo.jpg

I also cannot remove attachments in ie9/firefox, and my pics dont show as thumbnails

The text layout in Spooksters 3) is fine in ie9, so im guessing this is a css issue for older browsers?

When you have replied to a thread it takes you back to the first post of the thread instead of the latest/last.

Reply "boxes" are too big imo making more scrolling necessary. When Ped for example replies, her reply box covers most of the page due to her sig etc.

If I try to go to any other part of the site, apart from the forums I keep getting told I've been banned forever? Never had that problem on the old site. I'm assuming it's areas that aren't finishes yet?

Text under the username is overlapping on the right hand side while in Safari on the iPhone.

    LOL at bugs 2fat

SERIOUSLY - thanks for feedback, first 24 hours is the worst for us and will be working over the weekend too. I have let Eric go home to bed now so kick off 8am tomorrow again wirth a full crowd in the office.

ALL feedback appreciated and be assured we will be working on this project for the rest of the year, there is a lot we are trying to achieve and today is just the first day.

Assuming we are still ok with the server by Tuesday we will then bring back SGB as well as a front end to Q material. Couldn't do it at first as would have needed to move server and not allowed us a roll back option if needed.

Accessing PMs is a nightmare. You can read the first page, but when you click on any other page you get sent to the Q homepage.

When I responded to Ray's poll thread, it sent me to the UK chat page, and then the Q homepage. I've not noticed that on any other posts I've made.

Are you talking about your racing bike post?

I've tried to respond to that thread, and others on the FFSF to test it. It will not accept any replies. When you submit the reply, it takes you to the Qlocal.co.uk homepage. Another bug, Steve!

Hank...... I've managed to edit your post, and have advised people that it's now sold. I've also closed the thread.

Steve, please take on board the size of each reply "box", it's bloody ridiculous having to scroll down to the next reply box to read the next persons post.
Ruins continuity and personally makes me want to stop reading, not what you or your "sponsors" want if i'm not alone.

I have reduced the time i spent on another forum recently because of the "newness" issues after a major refurb, a year on and it's like a desert in there, prior to the change it was a lively active place, someone recently posted "It's over 24 hours since the last post", dismal. Don't let it happen here.

    Next.
I get a PM, open in this window? Fine.
Open in a new window? I get a Pop Up warning along with the yellow accompanying info bar at the top of the page.

Slight aside perhaps, why is my lappy fan running more often when all i'm doing is perusing here??? I've done nothing different at all since the change over.

The not being able to go straight to last post posted on a thread is not good, any threads longer that ten or so posts and I won't bother reading them as I will have to keep on scrolling through what I have already read. Also not being able to see who posted last on a thread is annoying as I often use who has posted last to decide if I cba reading the post. Oddly I can see on a few of them - like on this one I could see Rogers name but most don't show who has posted last.

    And where are the pms?

I agree, we need a 'go to last post viewed' tab.

There is no option to find all posts by a user.

There is no option to see how many views a thread has had.

Maybe no bugs, but useful features nonetheless.

More thought is needed to make this new site 'workable'.

There is no facility to go to the 'last post read' on any thread.

You cannot move from one thread to another. without going back to the main page.... or if you can I can't find out how to do it.

It is a very cumbersome site.

    Too much 'clicking'
Why oh why can't I click on next thread when I have finished looking at one thread?

Also I would like to be able to click 'go to first unread post' instead of having to scroll through all that I have already read.

I was going to mention that. In the old format I used that a lot, particularly for moderation purposes. I'd like to see that option again.

There is no option to see how many views a thread has had.
You can see how many views a thread has had. The second column on the chat index is Replies/Views.

Chirpy....... I can also see who made the last post. Odd that they're not all visible to you, but I'm finding a lot of odd things on here! It's certainly not as easy to get around

It's extremely slow. Maybe that's because things are going on behind the scenes, but I don't have the patience to wait!

Copied from main chat forum. Not a bug as such, but something that could/should be fixed.
