Have you tried Ebay? I've bought and sold loads of stuff and there are always collectors looking for their particular interest.

I did look at ebay, but thought I would try private sales first, as I pay listing fees etc as well as paypal fees, also I have never sold on ebay.

Why do we have a for sales forum when people try to avoid it and get their wares listed on this forum site?

I'm not sure how extensive your collection is, but I've had a little look on ebay and came across this listing.

I've sold a lot of stuff on ebay successfully. You can keep the listing fees to a minimum if you are careful how you list your item. You'd be much better trying on there than on the for sale forum on here. You're instantly advertising to a massive market, rather than a few locals who all seem to want something for nothing.

Because Derek, if you read my first post, I have not put them up for sale, I was simply asking around to gauge interest and whether it is worth selling or not. If you don't have anything useful to say then go and find something better to do.

You also on the for sale items were asking to buy vintage toys

Not selling? Just want to check the interest here? My knowledge of the English language is obviously getting worse by the day. Got a collection here I want to sell. So what do you really mean? I quote you: Because Derek, if you read my first post, I have not put them up for sale, I was simply asking around to gauge interest and whether it is worth selling or not. I want to sell, but they are not up for sale? My my. What great logic.

Yes, I knew the point I was making, at that time I had not put the items up for sale, but I was wanting to, hence me trying to see what interest there was first. I wanted to find out if they were worth selling or not.

And you have no place to question me or my logic, as I have said to you before, all you do is nit pick at other people when there is absolutely no reason for you to do so.

Your answer simply confirms what I have said - there is no logic. Read what I wrote - or what for a large part you wrote.

Sadly, that has always been the case.

Thank you Topsy, yes Derek I have just lost my dad two weeks ago, he committed suicide. However, you annoy me, the way you speak to others less fortunately educated than yourself is awful, nothing short of bullying. I personally can take insults and criticism, but it isn't fair on people. You don't know most of us (thank god) but yet you will always pick on people who make spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, or contradict themselves. I am sure you must just go trawling through the forums looking for the next person who is unfortunate enough to receive a lashing from your poisonous tongue.

You are a horrible little man who needs to go out and find himself a hobby of some sort apart from this current one of trying to make people feel inadequate.

I understood what Littlemum was saying and I don't exactly class myself as uneducated. Sometimes it's worth pointing out mistakes if it's obvious that the posts makes no sense as a result, but in this case you're just being an obnoxious old fart.

Edit: Back to the original question... I don't collect My Little Ponies, but if anybody sees any original Care Bears on their travels, remember that I do collect those. Cheers
Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn?
    Remember how she said that
    We would meet again
    Some sunny day?

    What has become of you?
    Does anybody else here
    Feel the way I do?

I collect Steiff bears. Not really, but if people are going to start donating stuff on here I'm gonna make sure I'm in line for something. Incidentally I used to love speak n spell, I can't remember if I had one or if it was my daughter: I'm guessing at my age it was probably my daughters. Dunno if I should be admitting to liking playing with one of them when I was in my 30s?

I used to collect Britain's toy horses - anyone remember them? I still have 5 or 6 of my old favourites somewhere.

I used to have a Britains Vickers machine gun crew. Probably worth a fortune now, but sadly lost to the gutters of Bootle and the jaws of various dogs in the 1970s.

I don't have any cuddly ones (don't know what happened to mine) but I think I have 2 or 3 of the plastic oness that are a few inches high, with moveable arms, legs and have a curl of hair at the top. I'll try and find them later on today and will inbox you on FB xx
