Southport.gb.com continues to be the Number One website for our town, with several new records being set over the last 7 days. Established in 2001 the site continues to grow each year.
In a week that saw the 10,000th registered member for our forums, the site also recorded over 50,000 threads created, with nearly 600,000 posts by our registered members.
The site monitors how many people are online at anyone time and on Sunday, January 14, 2007, this also reached a new record of 787 people reading our news and forums. As well as our registered users, we typically find that the number of guests outnumber them by 5 to 1 at most times of the day – proving how wide an audience the site must be reaching.
Our dedicated server that holds all of our sites is certainly very popular with our main Southport.gb.com sites having a bandwidth of over 300 gigabyte last month.
