Magazines
at Doyles Antiques, Wayfarers Arcade
Mrs
Jan Doyle of Doyle's Antiques is very kindly supporting Macmillan through
the sale of recent back issues of monthly magazines. Have you any
magazines sitting on your coffee table or in your magazine rack? If so,
Jan will be happy to receive them – monthly magazines on any topic will
be very welcome. This venture continues to generate significant income for
Macmillan and your support is much appreciated. |

Old
Gold Wanted!
Perhaps
you'd like to consider giving your jewellery box a spring-clean! If so,
please pass any unwanted gold items to Karmy's Jewellers, Wayfarer's
Arcade, Southport, who will be able to utilise such items for the benefit
of Macmillan. |

Foreign
Currency - Notes and Coins
Macmillan
always accept any foreign currency notes and coins. The new Euro
means many currencies will become useless by the end of March 2002 so why
not dig out your old notes and coins and give them to Macmillan.
Local website www.southport.gb.com asked their site visitors and
advertisers recently and over £100 was immediately raised by the partners
and staff at:
Jones Harris, Chartered Accountants, Hoghton Street, Southport
(pictured are two of the staff who also kindly separated all the notes and
coins into each different country). |

Birthdays /
Anniversaries
If
you have a birthday, anniversary or other significant event coming up for
which it is customary to receive gifts, why not ask your friends to give a
donation to Macmillan instead of the gift, thus celebrating the event, and
at the same time helping Macmillan to support people living with cancer. |

Please support us in
anyway you can ...
by
arranging an event, such as a Sponsored Walk / Run / Cycle Ride, or
organising a Coffee Morning, or by sparing an hour or two of your time to
man our stalls at collections etc, or by providing raffle prizes for our
various fund-raising events. Thanks!
