Opening on Saturday 5th July 2003, Kidsplay
is one of the biggest and most exciting children's indoor play centres
in the North West of England. It is located in the village centre of
Birkdale just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Southport.
Kidsplay will provide endless fun for
babies and children right through from new born babies to 11 years old.
For the babies there is a separate area, a soft self-contained 'pool'
where they can interact with different shapes and textures whilst Mum or
Dad can relax alongside them with a cappuccino.
The huge adventure play structure is
divided into two sections - a separate area for toddlers and the
remainder for the bigger kids. The toddler area has its own soft play
area, numerous climbing and interactive activities and a slide - all
separate from the older children to prevent intimidation.
For the brave children from 4 and up, the
main play structure will provide hours of adventure and excitement. It
is by far the largest dedicated play structure for miles around. It is
packed full of challenges to stimulate the children's minds. There are
climbs, crawls, rope ladders, a large ball pool and 2 thrilling slides.
The first of these is a 2-lane astra slide and the second is a spiral
tube slide starting from over 5 metres high! A challenge for the very
bravest of kids.
And if that is not enough there is also a
large inflatable sports zone (for all those budding sports stars!) and a
separate karaoke and dancing area (for all those budding pop stars!).
The sports zone (above) has goals and
netball / basketball nets at either end and is unique to play centers in the North West. The karaoke and dancing
area (left) has a proper stage, lights and music so the kids can really feel
like they are S Club or Blue.
With a large free car park at the rear, café serving quality food
and drink and stylish comfortable seating for the parents, Kidsplay
is the perfect venue to allow your little ones to let off some
