The
Devonshire Club is a privately
owned social club without any political affiliations which aims to
provide members with facilities for
their entertainment and enjoyment
The
membership is free for life, and is open to everyone. Holiday membership is available
- details from
the club. The atmosphere is friendly and new members are
always made welcome.
The
club supports all normal pub activities, such as darts, dominoes,
pool and quiz teams plus two football teams are also
supported.
Games
room - provides for all normal pub games and has a large
screen TV for sports
Function
room - offers dancing to organ and drums every Sunday night,
when prize bingo and raffles etc. are also played
Lounge
- there is a smaller lounge for those who whish to have a
quieter night
Special
occasions - the function room which holds 100 people is
available for hire. The room has its own bar and toilets,
and is completely self-contained. The room is offered for
most family occasions and charity evenings. For smaller
occasions, such as christenings, the lounge is also available
