Located
near to the main entrance to the Gardens are The Botanic Gardens Cafe and
Banqueting Hall, two attractive cafes with seating capacities of 80 and
150 respectively.
We
are a family run business and have been established since 1967. We
pride ourselves in the standard of fresh and home-made foods
and drinks, with a wide selection of hot and cold meals served inn
hygienic surroundings by efficient staff at moderate prices and will spare
no effort in making you sincerely welcome with the confidence you will
enjoy yourselves and wish to visit the Botanic Gardens again - like so
many of our established regulars.
We
offer discount prices on meals for groups and coaches. Just call and
ask for more information. Entrance to the Gardens is FREE and car
parking is also FREE.
The
Botanic Gardens is set in 20 acres of beautiful scenery and amenities
include an open air aviary with many species of exotic birds,
including Parrots, Love-Birds, Finches, Peafowl and Pheasants. There
is an interesting museum which is a centre of education and a
unique fernery with its fairly-like foliage and fountains. In
addition there is a boating lake with rowing boats and canoes,
picturesque rose gardens, floral displays, plant sales, two good bowling
greens, a fully equipped children's playground, crazy golf and
a garden tour train.

October, November and December why not visit our
Giant Christmas fair in the cosy warmth of our Banquet Hall?
We
have an excellent range of Christmas Cards, Toys, Games
and Gifts for all ages at very competitive prices.
Father
Christmas visits his Grotto every weekend in November and December.
