Body Mech is a small piercing studio, located at 19 Princes Street , Southport , PR8 1EG . The studio was established in 1997 and is currently run by Alex Trowell and Becky Holmes, who together strive to make your piercing experience a pleasant and straightforward affair that is not too painful.

We continue improving and upgrading, taking on and trying out new techniques and equipment as they become available and keeping those that work. We are strict on adhering to our age limits, so please bring ID with you if you are under the age of 18. We now provide aftercare solutions with all piercings. We stock nitrile gloves for people with latex allergies. Not so long ago we brought back “Student Monday's” with 10% discount on all piercing and jewellery (on production of a valid student ID). Since 2003 we have tried to push ourselves forwards by adhering to some statements. The rest of which can be found on our websites “about” pages. Floors, tabletops and other services are cleaned on a daily basis. The piercing area and other areas involving high risk of contamination are cleaned in between clients. We use ultrasonic cleaning  to decontaminate and then a vacuum autoclave to sterilise tools and new jewellery. Needles, gloves etc. are of course single use only.

Tools and Jewellery. We guarantee that we will use appropriate tools and jewellery for the piercing you want. We always pierce with EU compliant titanium jewellery unless other options are discussed with the customer.
