The Arion pub in Ainsdale was built in the late 1960’s and is situated in the middle of a middle-class housing estate. It has recently been taken over by the youngest landlady in Southport.
It’s a family orientated pub with a friendly atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The Arion caters for all ages with a pub quiz on Monday nights beginning at 9pm, Wii nights on Wednesday’s starting at 9pm where you can get a Carling and a pint for £4.99, and Karaoke on Friday nights running between 9pm and a 12pm late bar for all people who like singing and having fun.
The Arion now shows live football, including most premiership matches and cup games, where you can buy great value bar snacks whilst watching the game and be served at your table so you don’t have to miss any of the action.
The Arion have great value meals to offer with a restaurant menu with a wide choice of meals and a great children’s menu. We now accept card payments and will cater for any functions at a reasonable price with a hot or cold buffet. Cask ales are also available together with a wide range of lagers and spirits.
Why not come and play pool with your friends – 60p for a game, two games for a £1.00. There are three game machines in the pub and a great quiz machine to play.
Forthcoming events. On the 27th February why not join us for our 70’s night, tickets are £5 each with a free buffet – book early too avoid disappointment by ringing 01704 578 111. Starting this Saturday, 20th February, we have free pool from 7-10pm and OAP’s specials on a selected food menu.
Future events include battle of the bands, live artists and Saturday night disco’s – ring for further information. Sunday car boot sales are also starting soon at £5 per car – please ring to book a place.
The Arion pub is on Kenilworth Road, Ainsdale. It is located around within a large housing estate and caters for everyone’s need with a huge car park to the rear of the building – coach parties are welcome.
When showing live football you can buy bacon or sausage barm for a £1. We serve food from 12-8pm 7 days a week, with a menu for all occasions.
