Lebanese Cuisine

Lebanese cuisine is your passport to a gastronomic adventure. Throughout history, Lebanese cooking has ranked as an equal alongside the world's finest cuisines. It has evolved from the different and successive invasions including Romans, Ottomans, ancient Greeks, Arabs, Egyptians, Persian and French with each civilization and culture leaving its mark. This probably explains why Lebanese food is that bit more varied and refined than that of its Middle Eastern neighbours. 

Lebanese cuisine is therefore a Mediterranean food of elegance using, in delectable combinations, simple and healthy ingredients. It represents an important part of the rich and turbulent history of this beautiful and bountiful country.
